GENESIS MARRERO
Genesis Marrero is an associate attorney at Gonzalez Olivieri, LLC in Houston, Texas.
Attorney Marrero is a native of Puerto Rico. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science Magna Cum Laude at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus, in May of 2016. That same year, Attorney Marrero attended the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico – School of Law. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and was admitted to the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico State Bar in February 2021.
While in law school, she was a Law Clerk Intern at the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico. She also participated in Legal Clinics at the Department of Consumer Affairs of Puerto Rico and the Department of Justice Puerto Rico. These experiences gave Mrs. Marrero litigation experience in criminal law and administrative agencies procedures.
Professionally, these experiences have shaped her into developing a unique ethical judgment, and have turned her into an extremely competent attorney qualified to offer legal services in the public and private sector. Attorney Marrero’s exposure to these diverse environments and resources will enable her to make an impact in the legal community of Huston. She is fully bilingual in Spanish her native language, and English.
